Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Room Style AI ("Room Style", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Room Style AI mobile application, website, support pages and related API (together, the "Service").
1. Who is responsible for your information
Room Style AI is responsible for the information processed through the Service. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@roomfinish.ai.
2. Information we collect and process
- Anonymous app identifier: a randomly generated identifier stored by the app and sent to our backend. We use it to maintain your visualization balance, purchase status and server-side project history. It is not your Apple ID and does not contain your name or email address.
- Room and reference photos: images you take or deliberately select from your photo library, including an optional reference image for tools that support one.
- Generation instructions: the selected tool, room type, style, options, structure preference and any text instructions you enter.
- Generated projects: the result image URL, generation status, selected options and creation time used to show project history and return completed visualizations.
- Purchase and subscription information: App Store product and transaction identifiers, original transaction identifier, subscription expiration, credits granted and a cryptographic receipt hash. We do not receive your full payment card number or Apple ID password.
- Technical and security information: our hosting and network providers may temporarily process IP address, request time, response status and limited error information to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the Service.
- Support communications: if you contact us, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message.
We do not ask for your name, phone number, precise location, contacts or social-media login. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs and we do not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites.
3. Camera and photo library permissions
Camera and photo-library access occur only after you tap the relevant control and the operating system grants permission. The app processes only the image you take or select. Saving a generated result to your photo library is also initiated by you. You can change these permissions at any time in the device's Settings app; removing access may prevent photo-based features from working.

Where consent is required, including for camera or photo access, you control that consent through the operating system and may withdraw it at any time.
5. AI processing and service providers
When you request a visualization, our backend sends the selected photo, any reference photo and the generation instructions over an encrypted connection to our AI infrastructure provider, fal.ai, and the model provider selected for the relevant tool. This disclosure identifies a processor used to provide the Service; it is not an in-app endorsement or advertising statement.
Our backend asks the AI infrastructure not to store the request input and output payload and requests expiration of generated media after our configured retention window. A generated image is returned through a difficult-to-guess URL. Anyone who obtains the exact URL may be able to access the image until it expires, so do not share a result link publicly unless you intend to share the image.

We require service providers to use information only for the services they provide to us and to protect it appropriately. Their own terms and privacy notices may also apply.
6. Data storage and retention
- Input and reference photos: our application database does not save the raw photo data. The backend holds it only long enough to validate and send the generation request.
- Generated project records: result URLs and associated generation metadata are retained for up to 30 days under our configured retention process, unless you delete your data sooner.
- Generated media: the AI infrastructure is instructed to expire hosted result media after approximately 30 days. A provider may retain limited information longer where required for security, legal compliance or dispute handling.
- Purchase records: transaction identifiers, receipt hashes and verification logs may be retained as reasonably necessary for purchase integrity, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes and legal obligations.
- On-device data: the anonymous identifier, credit status and local project history remain on your device until removed through the app, deleted with app data or otherwise cleared by the operating system.
- Support messages and backups: retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, protect the Service and meet legal obligations. Deletion from encrypted backups may occur on the backup rotation schedule.
7. Sale, advertising and analytics
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your room photos for targeted advertising, do not operate third-party behavioral advertising in the app and do not use the app to track you across services owned by other companies.
8. Your controls and privacy rights
You can remove individual local projects from your history. To remove the anonymous server account, remaining credit balance, purchase association, generation records and local history, open Settings → Delete my data in the app. Images you previously saved to your device's photo library remain under your control and must be deleted there separately.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection, or to withdraw consent. Send a request to support@roomfinish.ai. Because we do not require login details, we may ask for the anonymous app identifier or purchase information needed to locate and verify the relevant record. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
9. International processing
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws from your country. Where required, transfers are protected through recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or contractual protections.
10. Security
We use data minimization, encrypted transport, access controls, request-size limits, receipt verification and operational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security, and you should avoid uploading photos that contain confidential documents, access codes or other highly sensitive details.
11. Children and photos of people
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Do not upload a photo of another person unless you have their permission and a lawful basis to do so. If you believe a child has provided information through the Service, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
12. Automated image generation
The Service uses automated systems to generate creative image concepts from your selected content and instructions. This processing does not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Service, providers or legal requirements change. We will revise the date at the top and, where required, provide additional notice before a material change takes effect.
